Essential Functions and Objectives:
Program Director, Regional Athletics job description
Lead and direct regional and district high school athletics, intramural, sports and activities program in the Far Northeast.
Develop regional alignment of regional school in CHSAA, middle school athletics, intramural, sports and activities pathway program to ensure alignment of student participation ranging from early school program to high school and early college.
Provides supervision, professional development, and resources to coaches as needed.
Develop intentional pathways of education from elementary through post-secondary students
Creates parent and community partnerships for athletic events
Responsible for all athletic funds, prepare and administer Athletics and Student Activities Budget and provide Financial/Budgetary Services with necessary financial reporting. Supervise the participation fee program and conduct monthly budget reviews.
Work with community, state or national organizations to align academic scholarships that link college readiness and career success
Education Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors degree, a Masters Degree is preferred in Education or related field of study, with emphasis in secondary athletics and activities.
5+ years coaching and athletic program management experience.
5+ years of leadership and or program management experience.
Previous experience playing sports in high school/college required.
Urban school district administration experience required.
Licensure and Certification:
Preferred Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) Certification
Preferred Professional Principal or Administrators License
CPR First Aid Certified
Valid drivers license

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
